To all non-pet owners who visit and complain about our cats

They live here. You don't.
If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. That's why they call it 'fur'-niture.
I like my cats a lot better than I like some people.
To you, they are animals. To me, they are adopted children who are short, furry, walk on all fours and don't speak clearly.

Remember, cats are better than kids because they...
1. eat less,
2. don't ask for money all the time,
3. are easier to train,
4. normally come when called,
5. never ask to drive the car,
6. don't hang out with drug-using people,
7. don't smoke or drink,
8. don't want to wear my clothes,
9. don't have to buy the latest fashions,
10. don't need a gazillion dollars for college and
11. if they get pregnant, I can sell their children.

  1. it! I'm a huge kitty fan. Only have one kitty right but I'm used to have many around. You can see some more sweet kitties at "Confessions of a Plate Addict" blog. Debbie has 4 kitties, too, I think. Her blog is shown on my blog roll if you want to visit it. We cat people have to stick together, right? :-) Susan

  2. Thank you for the comment. I checked out the "..Plate Addict" blog. It looks like she enjoys a lot of the same blogs as me. I cracked up at the movie of the talking cats at the bottom of her page.

  3. I agree with you... even though I only have two cats: Ben and Mimí (old guy, probably 12 years, and young female, 2 years old and always ready to eat and play). I like your list too! Keep up the good work!
